Turn the light on. When the fish start to appear do not fish in the light, but fish the dark edges of the lighted circle. If using live bait with a bobber or float, cast it to the dark edge of the lighted circle. You can also bottom fish the dark edge using live bait. Another method that works well is to throw a surface plug or other lure out to the dark edge of the lighted circle and work it all around the edges. We have found the darker it is outside, the better your fish light will work.
